DIPLOMA in Building Construction

This program stresses the understanding of all aspects of the building construction industry, and demonstrates such elements of the industry as planning, management, finance, technical and production skills, underlying principles of technology, labor issues, community issues, health, safety, and environmental issues.

PROGRAM MISSION

The mission of this program is to prepare students for employment or advanced training in the building construction industry.

REQUIREMENTS

Four Credits in WASC/NECO/GCE including English Language in not more than two sittings. OR Grade II Teachers Certificate with at least a merit.

  • Complete 60 credit hours made up 48 credits of online class and 12 credit hours of internship/appreticeship with a minimum CGPA of 4.0
  • Fulfill 6 months of apprenticeship requirement
  • Evidence of Christian Character
  • Complete the program in two and not more than three years. Failure to complete in three years requires an application for extension for another one year

All courses are 3 credits each except otherwise specified. C= compulsory; R= required; E= elective
